12th Annual Inauguration & Charity Gala 

On October 15, 2005, our company was honored with the prestigious distinction of being certified as a Gold Sponsor for the 12th Annual Inauguration & Charity Gala hosted by the Richmond Hill & Markham Chinese Business Association. This gala, a highly esteemed event within the community, symbolizes a celebration of leadership, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy. As a Gold Sponsor, we not only provided financial support but also actively participated in the event, showcasing our commitment to the Chinese business community and our dedication to fostering meaningful connections and partnerships.

2015 & 2016 Banyan Gala

We were immensely proud to serve as a Gold Sponsor for the prestigious 2015 and 2016 Banyan Gala, organized by the esteemed Under The Banyan Tree Centre. This significant event was dedicated to supporting and empowering individuals with developmental disabilities, reflecting our deep commitment to social responsibility and community enrichment. Girls U9 team | Season 2019/20/21/22

In 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, we enthusiastically extended our sponsorship to the Girls U9 team from the Markham Soccer Club, reaffirming our steadfast commitment to nurturing youth athletics and promoting a passion for sports among young athletes. Our sponsorship went beyond financial support; it encompassed active involvement and engagement with the team, coaches, and families throughout the seasons.

Throughout these years, our sponsorship provided essential resources to the Girls U9 team, enabling them to participate in league competitions, tournaments, training sessions, and other developmental activities.  We contributed not only to the team’s success on the field but also to their overall growth, skill development, and camaraderie off the field.

By sponsoring the Girls U9 team from the Markham Soccer Club over multiple years, we have demonstrated our continued commitment to investing in the next generation of athletes and fostering a positive sporting culture within our community.  Through our support, we aim to instill values of teamwork, discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship that will benefit these young athletes both on and off the field for years to come.

Art Gallery of Ontario’s Corporate Membership Program

We support the Art Gallery of Ontario through its Corporate Membership Program. The program enables numerous Gallery initiatives such as art conservation, special exhibitions, and programs for children, youth, and adults. By bringing art and people together, we affirm our belief in the transformative power of arts programming, not only in our lives but also for future generations. 

By supporting the Art Gallery of Ontario, we support our belief in arts programming to enrich lives, foster creativity, and build connections within our community.  Through our partnership, we contribute to the cultivation of a vibrant and inclusive cultural landscape that benefits present and future generations alike.

The National Baller’s 2022/23/24 season

Since 2022, HRU has fulfilled our commitment to artists, performances, and community engagement by sponsoring The National Ballet of Canada. The National Ballet’s 2022/23 season was the first full year with Hope Muir as Artistic Director. This event programmed an exciting season, showcasing the power of the company with new creative partnerships that push the art form forward and provide opportunities for artists to flourish. 

Throughout the seasons, The National Ballet has captivated viewers with awe-inspiring performances that transcended boundaries and inspired audiences of all ages.  From classical masterpieces to contemporary works, each production showcased the artistry and dedication of the dancers, choreographers, and artistic team.

As a result of our sponsorship, The National Ballet continues to be able to reach a wide audience of ballet enthusiasts who share a deep passion for dance while appreciating its profound ability to inspire, uplift, and empower.  Our support facilitates access to world-class ballet performances and contributes to the enrichment of our community by promoting artistic excellence and cultural diversity.

2024 RBC® Charity Golf Tournament

The HRU team enjoyed participating in the 2024 RBC® Charity Golf Tournament, which aims to support Youth Mental Health for the Humber River Health Foundation, specifically benefiting their Child and Adolescent Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic. This innovative program plays a vital role in offering timely psychiatric care to at-risk youth, particularly following their visits to the emergency department. It ensures personalized treatment plans at Humber, coupled with sustained connections to community-based mental health resources.

The Humber River Health Foundation is at the forefront of pioneering healthcare initiatives, constantly illuminating new pathways in the field. Their steadfast commitment to this cause promises to save lives and grant patients a renewed lease on life.
