Introduction
On February 17th, 2024, our Annual Charity Dinner was held in collaboration with RBC, Chartered Finance, and The SickKids Foundation.
All proceeds were dedicated to supporting The SickKids Foundation raising a total of $13,618 dollars, making a positive impact on the lives of many children.
We are so thankful to all of our donors and attendees for their contribution towards celebrating culture, community, and compassion.
What is Sickkids Foundation?
The SickKids Foundation believes that fighting for the health and wellbeing of children is one of the most powerful ways to improve society. By fundraising in support of the hospital’s Precision Child Health initiative, they are realizing their vision of – “we are healing the future.”
HRU’s mission
As we spearhead this fundraising initiative, we are inspired by the remarkable work of SickKids and their unwavering dedication to pediatric care. We are thrilled to partner with The SickKids Foundation to support their incredible work in children’s health. We invited all the guests to join us in making a substantial difference through donations.
The highlight of the night was our exciting Casino Royale, where guests indulged in various casino games. Our casino tables promised fun and excitement for everyone, including Blackjack, Roulette, and more, all in the spirit of festive cheer!

Building a Future-Ready Hospital: With the donation, The SickKids Foundation can allocate resources into constructing a new, state-of-the-art hospital and patient support buildings. Advancing Pioneering Research: SickKids is a global leader in pediatric research. The contribution will be instrumental in driving groundbreaking studies, turning today’s discoveries into tomorrow’s cures.
